I know how bad peroxide ruins your hair but i still want to know.

I've been dyeing my hair with cheep black box dye by clairol the last 2 times i've dyed my hair.

when i've used other dyes they have faded or i've been able to dye over them with a lighter color and this dye wont do either.

i know if i bleached it professionally, then it would work but would using peroxide still work over a couple of days or so?

  1. Oh boy...trying to bleach your hair after dying it with cheap black dye...fun fun. lol. I've had black hair a couple times (and yr right....the cheap stuff stays longer and fads less!) and even if you get it professionally done it still ends up a bright orange color or a drab copper color. So...my advice bleach it as much as possible and then dye it to the color you want or if you're going back to your natural color then buy a dye that is close to your natural color so the roots are so noticable and you don't have to suffer with ugly orange (and I mean ugly....I've had my hair all colors of the rainbow and this is no punk orange. lol) hair until it grows out. GOOD LUCK!!!!

  2. Your hair will probably fall out. Or it will not get to blonde and it'll turn orange.
