  1. Contact any station reservation office and ask for amendment to join in Mathura.

You msy try Indian Railway website and see you can amend your ticket joining place using PNR No.

  2. If you have a confirmed ticket from originating station, you are permitted to change your boarding point and entrain at any intermediate station irrespective of the distance from the starting station subject to :-

A specific request must be made in writing at the station from where the ticket is purchased (or PRS or website) and change in boarding point is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the train from the starting station.

Railways may book your seat from the originating station up to the station at which you are now boarding, to another passenger.  No refund will be permissible for the portion of journey not performed by you.

  3. You can.

But inform the Ticket Examiner as soon as you board

    the train.

  4. Yes you can board the train at Mathura.. but your reserved seat may be allocated to the next passenger due to no show at Delhi. You will be able to get a berth only if there is vacancy.

Since you are near Mathura why dont you just go to the booking office and ammend your ticket .... to be boarding at Mathura.... then your reserved seat is intact.
