  1. yes....in fact its good because you can pass on antibodies!!

  2. Yes its fine!

  3. yes. in the end this will only help her build up her immune system

  4. of coarse you can...are you taking any medication for the cold? if you are check with your doctor and make sure those medicines are okay when breastfeeding.

  5. Yup, it's totally safe; it's actually good for her! She needs those antibodies from your breast milk: they will make her body stronger so she can fight off future colds, quicker =]

AND she was exposed to your cold even before you had symptoms; your cold is air-borne and has been in the air for up to 72 hrs. before you even noticed symptoms .. so she was exposed to it already.

  6. yes you should not stop unless the doctor told you too or you are ready to ween her

  7. You absolutely can, and absolutely should.

"Mothers have breastfed their babies through a variety of illnesses, from colds and infections to chronic conditions including asthma and diabetes. Your baby is exposed to any illness you have before you know you are sick. One of the beauties of human milk is that when your body makes antibodies to combat an illness, these antibodies are passed directly into your milk, giving protection and disease-fighting abilities to your baby, too."
