Can I bring Bull mastiff?

Dear Frnds

I am having Germanshepard male and he is close to 1year old, And now I would like to bring Bullmastiff 2months old male , I luv this very much as well, now my question is who will be leader? will bull mastiff after growing will he lead or Germanshepard will lead. Or is it safe that if I bring this new puppy will GS gets disturbed. please adivce

who will be the leader? YOU! you should be the pack leader. Not your dog. If your dog is the pack leader you he will walk all over you.

I have 5 dogs. husky/malamute/wolf mixes. And I am the pack leader. Not them. Me. It makes it soo much easier.

If I we're you, I'd wacth The dog Whisperer. of Nationan Geo. monday-friday at 4pm central.

You should be the leader.

But between the two dogs...it depends on their personality and if you allow dominant behavior.

My little 18 pound female is continually trying to be dominant over my nephews Great Dane...and she would succeed if I allowed it.

Is your GS neutered if not and you plan to keep them both in tact then yes they will fight,but if you plan to neuter they should get along fine just make sure that you are the pack leader and have room for them and a yard to exercise them in

It all depends on the temperament of the 2 dogs. First and foremost if you are you are not the alpha of the pack you already have started then I would advise against the puppy right now and work on that instead. If you are then you will have to make sure that you have control of the situation and supervise them at all times. They will have to determine where they fall in the pack but as long as you are the leader you should have few skirmishes.

Leadership isn't always  chosen by size but is more dependent on personality and temperament. Your dogs your look to you as their leader. They will decide who comes next in the pack order. However,it will be up to you to let them know when their habits during the natural selection of the pack order process is getting too rough. Good luck!
