I have heard something about how you need receipts for electronics is this true? Can I have my Laptop in my carry on? Same with a digital camera?!

Also at most resorts can you use a standard plug to the wall or do you need a converter?

  1. yes, yes, yes, you need a converter and a surge protector...lots of fluctuation in electricity.

  2. Well i have asked for you and the answer is yes for everything.

  3. I've took laptops over and not been questioned, i've took clothes and mobiles too, If it's for someone else don't tell them at the airport!

Don't put your laptop in your case it might go missing (i've known people to steal out of cases at the airport.) keep it in your hand luggage

You need a converter if your from UK, think some hotels have a 3 pin plug socket but some don't

They only cost £1 or 2
