Can I bring a camping stove on a plane?

In my checked baggage and without fuel, of course. It hasn't even been used recently (last time september 07). If it matters any, I'm flying westjet between Vancouver, BC and Calgary, AB.

You can almost bring everything on a plane, as long as you pay for the overweight.
