Yes you can. They allow a certain amount. If you have other travelers you may want to have them carry drinks, too!

Yes, however it might be a good idea to Zip-Loc your pop cans inside your checked luggage just in case one of them springs a leak. For added safety, wrap them inside clothing items. You can also tote a little booze if you want to. Most people do it. The cruise line isn't going to make a big deal out of it. They want to have you back in the future.

yes you can , but it would be easier to but their fountain pass allowing unlimited soft drinks.  I do suggest you bring bottled water.  It is very expensive aboard ship.  If you drink anything that the cruise line has in your room, you will have to pay for it.

Yes, I just got back from a Carnival cruise. The cruiseline will send you info saying you can only bring limited soft drinks on board. But while waiting to board, I saw a few people carrying 24 pack coke or pepsi in line. I guess 24 is not over their limit. I brought 12- 16.9 oz. bottled water.
