I am going to Vegas to babysit a 7 year old. His mom told me we are only going to be there 2 days and 1 night. Because its Vegas I am assuming the mom is going to be out a lot. Would it be wrong if I asked to bring a long a friend to keep me company when he is asleep or when I have time to myself. She would pay for all of her expenses. The only thing would be that she would need to ride with us there and back because neither of us can drive.

  1. YOU are not going on vacation...the Mom is going to be on vacation and you are going to be working.  Since you are going to be working, it is not appropriate for you to bring your friend.  The Mom apparently wants you there (and I would assume she is paying you, right?) to supervise her child and pay attention to the child, which you likely won't do if you are busy with your friend.

  2. No of course not just explain why you would want to bring one along. I am assuming you are much older. I think she would understand that you don't wan' to spend all of your time with a 7 year old. Tell his mom she would pay all her expenses and would be completely responsible.
