Can I bring a gun into California?

Hello,

I am leaving to California later on and was wandering if I would be able to bring a Bersa .380 handgun with a 7 round magazine from Arizona where I live?

That is a good question because I live in Alaska where we have sinilar gun laws.  I say leave it home because they will take it away for good after you spend some jail time there.  I used to live in California and to carry a gun you need a special permit and if they check your luggage it will be taken!  Don't take a chance.  Like that Johnny Cash song says. DONT TAKE YOUR GUNS TO TOWN BOY, LEAVE YOUR GUNS AT HOME!!
