i might go visit my uncle in colorado during the summer and it gets boring there so i was planning to order a longboard to his place and just skate around the neighborhood and check out the scenery, and bring it back home on an airplane w/o checking it in cause my suitcase isn't big enough for the longboard i want.

the plane ride will be from colorado to california

  1. i doubt they will let you have it in the cabin (where would you stow it?). you should be able to check the board without it being in your suitcase.

  2. Cabin baggage always has a size limit. Check with your airline what their limit is, but I'd say it would be well under the size of a long board.

So you'll have to check it, and probably pay extra for it to be checked, since it will more than likely be considered oversized luggage.

Check everything with your airline rather than ask here - you'll get the correct answer rather than educated guesses here.
