I'm a Canadian citizen visiting friends and family in Colombia. The legal drinking age here is 18, in Canada the legal drinking age is 18 in some provinces and 19 in others. I'm from a province where it is 19. I am 18. If I could I would like to take advantage of this and take some some locally made wine and/or rum. Can I legally bring this back into Canada?

Thanks for your answers

  1. Esta prohibido senorita.

    C'est illegal en tabarnak.

    Don't chance it.

  2. This would only work if you came back into Canada at a Customs Point Of Entry in a province where the legal age is 18... otherwise there is no chance.... even so, you can only bring back one 750ml bottle of liquor or wine.

  3. try fedexing it

  4. Its not worth the bother.

  5. Nope, don't even try.

  6. don't even try it won't work tried it
