  1. no, then you would be a minor in possession

  2. I don't know but i wouldn't try.

  3. If you were bringing alcohol to ireland from US that would be okay but not if it is the other way arount because you have to be 21 to drink in US and 18 in Ireland . . . . . . .

  4. I'm wouldnt say so-just buy the alcohol in Ireland, we have a good choice :D

  5. yes... and bring some for me!!!

  6. No. you can not bring foreign alcohol into the U.S and than your even  the legal drinking age in the  U.S

  7. Assume that you're coming in through either Boston or NY-it's illegal to consume alcohol if you're under 21 in either state-Cusotms may not say anything as long as you declare it, but the customs inspector may call the cops- it didn't used to be like that -I was coming through customs at JFK about 20 years ago after a week at my cousins' in the six counties- I had a quart of poitin (Fermanagh Firewater), told the customs guy what it was and who made it, and he waved me through(it didn't hurt that the last name on the badge was O'Rourke!)

I'm not going to say don't do it, but if you do and get caught, lay the brogue on real, real strong, and plead ignorance- there's still a lot of Irish-American cops out there, and the worst you may have to put up with is the usual "... My Great-grandma was from(insert  county here)"-Enjoy!

PS- I'm not sure if the regs have changed, but you can bring up to a quart at a time
