Can I bring back an airsoft gun from Hong Kong to US?

I bought 3 small airsoft guns from Hong Kong. They are going to be presents for a few of my friends. Would the air line allow me to put them in my luggage? One problem I see is that it is an airsoft GUN. Next, they do not have an orange blazed tip. Will I still be permitted to bring it back to the states?

Nope, they will not allow them on the plane. If they find them you will be in big trouble.

Why would you buy guns for your friends knowing you have to get on a plane? DOH.

If you want them to have them that bad then maybe you should just ship them.

before you get on the plane just inform the authorities that you are carrying an Airsoft gun and let them check it out for them selves...don't put it on your hand carry...

When you arrive t the US just inform them again about your AirSoft gun that you are carrying...If the State were you live allows AEG's for not having the red/orange tip...then you got no problem...but if it doesn't allow it just buy a orange/red sticker then just put it on the tip of the AEG...

BTW you must diclare it as a toy gun replica so that it won't be confiscated for mis declaration of goods....
