I am going to Ukraine and on the plane flight back to the United States was planning on bringing back a carton of cigarettes. Will this pass through the Ukraine airport and JFK airport when I return?

  1. It will be fine, as long as you're not taking more than allowed (one carton should be fine)

  2. Yes. Remember that you are not allowed to bring a lighter, though.

  3. yes, my mom always does.  But no lighters are allowed, so you need to take matches.

  4. you can bring as many ciggarettes as you want just nothing to light it with

  5. Yes. But you will probably have to declare them in customs. If you are not carrying them on you it would be easier. Put them in your checked in luggage. I came back from Portugal a month ago and they asked me to declare the amount and type of goods I was bringing in from there. I had a pack of cigarettes in my checked in luggage, no problem at all. Don't carry a lighter on you, again, if you have one in your checked in bags no problem since you don't have a hold of them.

  6. yes but not a lighter

  7. Yes, 200 cigarettes are okay.

  8. Why would you? Smoking can make you die, when I was little, my aunt died because she smoked. No offense, but I think that is stupid. Again, no offense. But don't put a lighter cuz then they won't let you.

  9. Whoa!!!  You don't even know if they Will pass in the UK. Airlines have become so strict.

I would call JFK and the airline you will be going on and ask them what the rules are for that and if the UK will pass them also.  Better to be safe then get thrown in jail.
