  1. yes you can but only if you buy them within the airport. I fly on NWA a lot and have a elite status on my world perks accout (100908261974) so i get upgraded to first a lot for free so if u are flying in first they will usually give u unlimited food and drinks. If you are flying NWA use your elite account to upgrade or use mine I don't care i never use them all they do is sit there. If i want to fly my company pays for it.


  2. Yes. You can take dry food aboard planes. I've never had any problems packing my own snacks, from home. I take homemade cookies, chips, cheese, crackers, veggies and fruit. Fruit and veggies , if raw, must be cut up (even things like grapes) and packed in little bags or tubs. Particularly where agricultural restrictions on whole raw fruit apply, such as in Los Angeles.

    Here, in Los Angeles in order to curtail the Mediterranian fruitfly infestation, we cannot transport whole produce to certain areas without facing fines if caught.
