Can I bring marijuana out of the country if I have a prescription?

I'm planning a vacation to Australia and need to know if I can bring my 'medication' with me, and how it works with Ag check. Serious answers only, please.

  1. Nope, that would be considered trafikking still.  As different countries have different laws on this issue still, airlines will not allow it for any reason.


  2. NO! You can't legally leave your state with it. And even in your state it's illegal at the federal level.

    Your much much safer buying some more when you get there. Besides, one of the coolest things to do when traveling is finding out what kind people are burning abroad.

  3. Even if its a legit prescription, you could still run into seriuos problems. If this was an Asian or Middle Eastern country I would say you would have to be crazy to even consider it.  But Australia may be more flexible. The only way you will no for sure is to contact someone with Australian immigration and ask them.

    I doubt it would ever be consider trafficking, but you could still run into serious customs issues if they find it.
