Can I bring my Iphone 3G in to Cuba?

I'm not 100% sure I can bring it along with me with it having GPS in it and all. Any answers would be great.

  5. Yes, an iPhone should be fine. And it's for your own personal use, so it would be no problem. If Cuban customs decide to register it in order to be sure it leaves the country with you, then they may do that.

    Most people don't have problems carrying their phones...and most cellphones have a GPS system.

    But to be on the safe side, check out these sites and it may be a good idea to contact the Cuban embassy/consulate in your country...or travel agent to be sure for that.

    If you want to be on the safe side, maybe you can just bring an iPod/mp3 player.

    But again, I don't believe it'll be an issue for you because your phone is not specifically for GPS servicing.
