Question:

Can I bring my laptop (in it's case) AND a (kind of big) purse on the plane with me?

The purse is about the size of my laptop case... Maybe a little bit bigger.

Also, can I put the charger thing for my laptop in my suitcase that I'm going to check in?

  1. Certainly can.

But be prepared to take the computer out of the case at security.  For some reason, they always seem to want to scan the case and the computer separately.

  2. yeah i do it all the time

  3. Yes.  I haven't had any issues with that.  Most airlines allow you to carry a handbag/purse and a carry on which would be your lap top.  Good luck.

  4. Yes, both of these sound like they are the right size for carry-on items.  You should be prepared to remove the laptop from its case when you go through security, as they prefer to scan them this way.  I would advise you to put the laptop charger in your purse if you can.  The reason:  if your checked luggage (ie., your suitcase) gets lost or delayed for some reason, you will arrive at your destination with your laptop but no charger!  And yes, luggage does get delayed / lost sometimes, so you might not want to be purchasing a new laptop charger as soon as you land.  (At least I wouldn't!)
