  1. You certainly can. I wouldn't though, not for the prices you can buy it down there for. With all the restrictions on luggage nowadays, it is cheaper and easier to but it down there.

  2. Yes you can. I have traveled to the Caribbean and brought my own liquor and had no difficulty. Just make sure you put it in your checked bags and wrap it properly to prevent breakage. Another option also is to ship it there via UPS or FedEx prior to your arrival. The liquor in the Caribbean is pretty affordable but they don't always have the brand you may prefer, especially liquor from other islands.

  3. I don't see why not?  As long as its in your checked luggage it should be fine.  I know its okay the other way around.  I suggest carefully enveloping it in your clothes.

  4. Last time I was in the Bahama's, you could NOT take liquor on the plane...and since 9-11, restrictions on what you CAN take are so limited...

The alcohol in the liquor stores down there is MUCH cheaper than it is here...Unless you are buying "American" booze...as it would be more expensive since it's considered imported (for them)...if you smoke, I'd stock up on cigs before you go, as they are REALLY expensive there...
