Can I bring over the counter medicines as carry on in an international flight?

It's in foil packs and not bottles. These are medicines for simple ailments such as stomach ache and hyperacidity. If it's check in, what are the policies for liquids? Thanks!

  1. No problem. Just put all that kind of stuff in a 1 qt zip lock and be prepared to take it out to show them. For liquids, it must be less then about 4 oz. That includes cough medicine, hair stuff, and makeup. Do not bring bottled water from home. That will be taken away from you, but you can buy bottled water at the airport. They have stickers or something on the airport water so they know you got it there.
