Can I bring these items in Checked-in Luggage?

I plan to bring these items in my Checked Luggage, and a few pairs of clothes in Carry-On instead.

1. Razor blade (shaving)

2. 6 Bottles of shampoos (this may be a problem?) (larger than 100ml)

3. 2 bottles of Cologne (larger or smaller than 100ml?)

4. Pills (diarrhea, headache, etc..)

5. Bug Spray (larger than 100ml)

6. Deodorant (Axe Spray?)

If I can, do I need to put them in like zip bag? or this only applies if u have them on carry-on?

  1. u can have those items in your checked in luggage but not on ur carryon.

on ur carryon u wont be able to have any liquids at all

  2. Bug Spray? is this insect repellent or insect pesticide? I think you won't be able to bring pesticide in the event it would spray. Repellent would be fine. One tip for your liquids, wrap them in bubble wrap and then put inside a large Ziploc bag and then a plastic container. Sometimes they do leak. The baggage screeners don't always put things back the way you originally packed them. There is a limit for the total weight of aerosols, check the airline or TSA website. Make sure all pills or medications are in the original package so as not to confuse the baggage screeners. If you bring razor blades or anything else sharp in your checked luggage, wrap them or have in the package so the screeners won't get cut.

  3. U can put those in your checked baggage. and no they don't need to be in a baggie if it's being checked

U can take your pills and small bottles of liquid in your carry on (as long as it fits in a small plactic baggie)

  4. Actually, contrary to what Lexa said, you can have liquids in your carry-on, just not in the amounts you listed.  Go to the TSA website at this page http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p...

it will tell you what is also permitted or prohibited in your checked baggage.  I am pretty sure that your shampoos are okay.  You don't have to put these items in a zip lock bag, but I wold that way if anything does spill, it doesn't get on your clothes.  That is just something I've always done.  Make sure to also check the 3-1-1 rule with TSA.
