It says it cannot read the disc. Is there another kind of DVD disc that it reads?

  1. Are you trying to watch a DVD on your computer? If you have problems try to look for answers at the computers home site. There is usually an icon you can click on to take you to the computers manufacturer. They have a tech service department that will help you out. You might need a new driver or even a new card to get it to do what you want it to do. Look up tech service in the booklet that came with your computer. There should be a customer service web site or 800 phone number to call or e-mail. That is your best route to get the best answer.

I know for a fact that Mac's can play and burn DVD's you need at least a DVD-r or DVD-rw, along with the correct hardware and software to do it. Good Luck.
