Can I burn anime onto a CD?

Question

I have two slots on the my computer

a Lightscribe DVD writer/CD writer also a DVD rom.

I also have the program Divx converter if thats any help. I have anime on my computer and I want to get it on a DVD so I can earse it on my computer but I don't know how. I have blank CD-roms.

So the question is how do I do it and can I do it on a DVD rom? Does it always matter what type of file it is such a Avi's?

Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..

well there's no reason you shouldn't be able to burn a .avi to a cd, get some CD-RWs and try it out, if it doesn't work then try a video format converter like prism
