Can I burn videos . . .?

My computer says it has a CD-Writer / DVD-ROM. Does this mean I can burn videos.

  2. You can't burn videos with that drive.

    In order to burn videos your drive need to say DVD+/R or DVD +/-R / RW

    You basically just have a CD writer with a DVD player there. You can get a good dvd burner for around $45-$60 US dollars

  3. With a CD writer (which just means a CD burner,not a DVD burner) you can burn CD's but not DVD's. But you can still burn movies and videos. You just have to burn them in the form of MPG or MPEG files or for videos it's called VCD's or SVCD's. Go here: http://www.videohelp.com/
