Can I buy a Jawbone bluetooth from ebay verses Alltel phone company and still have it work good?

I want to purchase a jawbone bluetooth earpiece from ebay, but 2 things. How does the set up work with my phone by me buying it online verses the telephone company? second, I dont have a bluetooth phone but rather a regular cell, will it work with that phone or do i need a bluetooth cell?

well wherever u get ur jawbone its going to work no matter wat but ur phone has to have bluetooth compatibility on it or basically a phone that has bluetooth on it otherwise it wont work cuz thats y they are called bluetooth headsets
