Can I buy a USB cord for a specific camera model at the store?

My dog chewed up the original cord for my Sony Cybershot DSCW55 camera. Am I able to find a replacement cord in any stores, or will I have to order direct from Sony?

there may have a generic on that fits, if not, you will need to contact sony.....if there are any flea markets around when you live..chances are that they will have a generic one for a few bucks!!

Yes, but take the camera or the cord with you, there are several different types of USB cables.

You should be able to buy them from Sony authorized stores. You can try other stores as well but to be sure you're getting the original, you should buy from Sony outlets.
