I really hate vista and want to use xp again, as on vista the computer craps out on me decently often but xp doesn't and plus xp is a lot more user friendly with programs.

  1. quit tl;aking about it andf up grade you dumy

  2. There is were you are wrong...Vista is more compatible than any operating stem ever developed. Also XP's security is c**p and what hackers can create now could go through XP even with the best security system installed. There are just to many vulnerabilities in XP now. And the reason your comp craps out with Vista is because you have to have a Powerhouse computer to run Home Premium/Business/Ultimate. There is no problems with Vista you just have to really plan when you buy a computer now or else you will regret it.

  3. dude, if u have a computer that can support vista, u can use xp as well. see, those are two different systems, even though they are the same trademark, they can co-exist on the same computer and on every reboot u will be asked if u want to start with xp or vista. that way, u can have them both on your computer, but u can choose which one to use. :) hope i helped.

  4. You can easily install XP on a Vista-compatible computer, no problems at all. You will need a copy of XP though, you can't downgrade from Vista.

Having said that, I would recomend Ubuntu over Xp or Vista if your hardware is new enough. It's more user-friendly than Windows, all the software is free, it doesn't have viruses and it can do everything windows can do. Type in 'ubuntu' or 'compiz fusion' into youtube to see what I'm on about.
