Can I buy an iPhone at the apple store without the owner of the account there in person?

She is going on a trip and I would like to wait in line to get an iPhone. I'm on her joint account and im not sure i know her password.

i found this pretty cool website, http://www.cellsware.info/iphone . if you put in your zip code, it'll tell you the prices for the new iphone in your local stores and how much it would ccost on the internet including shipping. if you want you could enter the sweepstakes that's there but you probably wouldn't wanna spend the time.
