  1. I think that Européens'people who have enough money ,can

buy a house or an appartement in the US ,besides their

visa waiver...After buying the residence , they can ask for a

multiple -visa permitted to stay longer than 90 days without

to go out of US mainland and reentry...for almost a year.

I hope  that somebody knows ,can help more about this subject.

      Thank.

  2. The bank I work for requires a TIN (tax ID number) and we only do owner occupied for foreign nationals.

    Permanent residence aliens have SS#'s.

  3. You'll have to have some kind of identification  as in a Green Card from the immigration service.

As long as you are legally in the united states all it takes to rent an apartment is money for a security deposit, along with the first month's rent in advance, and paying the monthly rent, month to month.  A lease might be from one month to the next, or 6 months 9 months or a year. It all depends on the specific place and what you might negotiate.

A lot of places will verify that you have a steady job, and no credit problems.

The best thing to do is to call specific apartments in your city where you want to live, and fill out an application, which takes about a half hour of time, and perhaps a fee of 15 to 20$ US per application.

Some places allow you to file the application for free, or they say once you are approved you will apply the money of the application toward your first month's rent.

If you do not have INS identification papers or are illegal you are out of luck.

    Welcome to America.
