Hi guys,

going to Cuba in a little while andI hate shopping as it is, should I bravely enter the horrible world of clothes shops in the UK or will it be possible for me to buy (at a reasonable price) what I need in Cuba?

  1. h**l no,

    cuba has ugly clothes.

  2. It's best that you go shopping in the UK. If you need to buy swimsuits and things like these, you'll find them at the resorts but may not be the price you're looking for.

And take your sun lotions, batteries, meds, toiletries, etc instead of buying from the resort...it'll be more expensive (which is usually how it is at resorts) and you won't be wasting time shopping and enjoying  yourself more on the beach and tours.

    Have a great time!

  3. You will spend time shopping in Cuba ?

Don´t do that.   Better to spend time in Cuba right on the beach.

However, for an emergency, there is a nice store in front of Parque Central in Habana, they have lots of clothing, I got a Dolce & Gabbbana shirt, Hugo Boss lotion and Calvin Klein underware. This place is next to the book store La Moderna Poesía on Obispo Street.

    Best,  Joe L. Habana

  4. only clothes that i saw was naff t shirts saying i love cuba! buy on ebay ! then re sell when you get back - right bargains i have just got my swimsuit for £4 kaftan £5 and beach bag £2.50 all including postage! dont buy in cuba!!!!

  5. Don't expect to find any clothes shops in Cuba. Do all your shopping in the UK before you go.  You might even be able to give some of your clothes away to grateful recipients there.
