  1. before you buy. you really need to consider the overall cost. i was thinking of buying clothes and stuff but it would cost too much.

so if you want to buy jeans for $100. then it would be £50 in UK. but you still need to pay shipping cost. which would be $20 (or more) and then pay custom taxes and stuff like that. so it might add up to £100.

    you should try find alternatives.

  2. I guess it all depends on whether the company you're buying from is willing to send things internationally ... usually it says on the website whether they will or not ... I must admit I've usually found they don't but it's always worth checking out

it is much easier if you find either a UK or a European website, although I sometimes find the prices are more expensive than the dollar price

  3. yes you can buy from us site i do it all the time

  4. Yes you can.

I buy quite often from the USA, most recently, today I ordered the new Bob Dylan Basement Tapes CD from Sony/BMG's site.

That site quotes the price in dollars, and for those sites like it that don't quote pounds, I just divide by 2 to arrive at a pretty close idea of the cost.

You will, of course, have international shipping costs to pay and any import duty that might apply.

The shipping cost will appear in your final shopping summary, before you finally authorise it, so you will know, before you commit, how much the total will be.

If there is duty to pay, and the item comes by post, you will have a note put through your door by the postman, advising you to go to the nearest postal depot to collect and pay whatever it is. That note will give you the outstanding amount.

  5. no u can buy from an american site. dollars are about half of puonds.my dad goes over to the uk all the time so i kno this. so like 20 pounds is about 10 dollars, not exactly though but pretty close. hope that helps :)

  6. Many sites allow you to do this, just make sure you know the price conversion. $2 is about £1, but this varies daily. Just check the site!

  7. you can buy from this site.

basically the dollar is half in pounds, if that makes sense.

so if this thing was 300 dollars it would be 150 quid.

    My dad does it too.

but i would check that this site is like, not a scam or anything.

    my dad orders from

Amazon, Cd wow (which i think is american) and some other ones, because they have videos which aren't out yet.

    Hope i helped

  8. You would have to ask the website or seller. Chances are if you use a credit card it get converted. To get the conversion go here http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=... and change the 1 to whatever us dollar amount you need to look up.
