  1. Hey Jay,

nobody can really tell that, because each country has different rules and regulations.

You may be able to do things in California which you are not be able to do in Florida. You may go things in the Netherlands which would be impossible in Germany.

Get conclusion with your parents, best in form of a written statement, and you are good to go anywhere.

  2. Yes,you can get another adult to buy your ticket but if you are under a certain age(say 10) the airline may require you to be accompanied by an adult,,the airlines can supply the adult, but you must then pay for that persons airfare both ways.

  3. Last year a 9 year old did just that, flew from WA to TX on Southwest Airlines.

Generally speaking you can't buy a ticket and travel alone at 9 years, but if you get a guardian to sign off the unaccompanied paperwork at the airport no one will even question it.

Try to get your parents involved though, because if they are your true legal guardians, they could file a missing child report (assuming you are under 18).  The legal proceedings wouldn't be fun for anyone.  Don't know your situation, but wish you the best and try to work it out first.

  4. Providing you have access to a credit card, there's nothing stopping you buying a plane ticket online.

However, you won't be let passed the check-in counter if you're underaged (usually 15 and under) and travelling without an adult.
