Can I buy synthetic blood?

I'm desperate for my friend. he needs to do this experiment now. please help me. if there is such a thing, please tell me where/how to get it. it is important.

I believe you can get it on crimescene.com, it is like $15 but says it can specifically be used for experiments.  Another suggestion- ask if you can buy it from a nearby college or university, don't know if they will sell it but it is worth a try.

if you need costume blood , most costume stores / party city stores stock that.

As for a substitute for an oxygen carrying biological liquid, get in line - the Army has been working on it for about 40 years or so since the Korean war.
