Can I call an airplane?

I wanna call my bestie when shes gonna be on the plane, cause you know the plane has phones, passangers can make calls if they *pay, but i wanna call her, is it possible?

No, and it would be costly for her to call you. Let her call you when she gets to her destination.

If it's a genuine emergency, and there is a very compelling reason, it's possible, by calling Flight Service. They can contact the flight crew by radio, and the flight crew could relay the message. ( I decided against leaving the number here... for concern of people calling to see if it's possible... it is.)

I have on a couple of occasions had flight service make landline calls for me. (when I was delayed in flight and knew that people would be calling around looking for me...)

Not exactly you question, but perhaps an interesting aside.

No, it is not.

She can call you if the plane has those phones in the back of the seats (not all do), but you can't call in.
