Question:

Can I call post office to speed up delivery?

I ordered books off eBay. They were in Arizona for a week, and now they're in New Jersey and have been there for 3 days, according to the usps tracking service. I live in New York, and I'm highly anticipating these books. Is there any way that I could call the post office in New Jersey and get them to ship my books?

  1. The person whom shipped to you, probably used the cheapest postage. (Parcel Post) This is delieved slowly.  You probably won't have any luck with calling them. But you could call and find out the reason why it's just sitting there.

  2. No calling won't help. Next time use FedEx when you have an important delivery.

  3. You can call, but it will do you no good.

  4. The short answer is no, if you wanted faster delivery, you should've chosen a faster shipping option when you bought your products.  Sorry.

  5. The only way to get stuff faster is to select a faster shipping method. You have options when you order, and if you do not pick a faster mode of shipment the shipper will use the cheapest way.You get what you pay for and the bureaucrats that manage the Post Office will give you only lip service.

By the way the post office gets NO TAX MONEY.

  6. You are talking about the USPS... good luck with all that! That's your tax dollars at work...  or not!

  7. you can call USPS but it will be a waste of your time to do so.

Are you sure they were not shipped UPS..
