Can I call someone to find out my entire work history in the last 18 months. I don't remember any of the dates? I am needing this information to file for an extension for my unemployment.

I have tried calling the companies, but two of them have gone under and the other hasn't called me back even though I've left a 7 messages.

How can I find out this information?

  1. Phone the Social Security Administration. As long as it was not a cash job and the company's paid their taxes they have a record of it. I once got my Social Security report and there were jobs not to mention all the dates that I worked for company's that I had long since forgotten. There is one thing that I don't understand about your extended claim. To have gotten the money in the first place the employment security office already has this information. If they lost it the office has a computer tie in with all your social security records and can easily look this up using your social security number. Really you don't have to do a thing except give them your social security number. Piece of Cake.  Good luck  Bob
