Can I cancel my Air France flight on the day of travel?

I'm booked to fly to Budapest, Hungary (through Paris, France) via Air France today, actually...but an unexpected complication arose this morning, and it would be very, very inconvenient and complicated to go now. My question is: is there any way that I can cancel my flight and possibly receive a refund (I realize it's impossible to receive a full refund, but even a partial one would do)?

You can and should always cancel a flight if you can not make it. There might be a telephone number on your ticket or you can just phone Air France at the airport you would leave from.

Whether you get any refund depends on the conditions of the ticket you have.

If you can not find any telephone number, walk into the nearest travel agents and ask how to handle. (Often they do help you without cost, other times they will at least explain how to do it.)

If you booked through internet, go back to the same site, there should be the info how to cancel and ask for a refund.
