Can I cancel my K1 visa process????????????

I need to know if I can cancel my process with the K1 visa ,, my application was sent 3 months ago,,,, but it just dint work out with my ex-fiance,,, I would like to cancel my process,,,, is there any fees? thank you, please help...

No fees, but no refunds either. While you should certainly inform USCIS to withdraw your petition, I wouldn't count on them actually opening your letter and finding your petition in time. wouldn't hurt to send a letter to the embassy as well. If you're the beneficiary, again, no problem. If you're contacted to prepare your forms for the interview, just tell them you're no longer interested.

If you are the US Citizen petitioner, you can withdraw application before it gets approved. Simply write formal letter of your intention of with drawl. Make sure you include information about yourself and beneficiary, such as names and Receipt Number.

I think your fiance is the petitioner.  Means he filed the application for you.  You are being sponsored.  Usually when he or you receive and do not use it, it'll be expired.

If you are not the petitioner, when you call up or write to USCIS, they would like to speak to him instead of you.  Right now the K1 visa processing time is around 9 months to 1 year.  I think just let it be.  If your ex-fiance would like to withdraw the application, he will take the action.

No fee to cancel.  Just inform USCIS that you are withdrawing the application and will not marry the fiance.
