  1. I'm certain Indian Quarantine would prohibit such an item from entering the country.

The only way you can import it to India is to get it from a certified exporter in Australia - as only they would be able to provide you with all the required paperwork like phytosanitary certificate etc and you wouldn't be able to carry it on the plane - it would have to be transported on cargo flight and cleared by customs/quarantine in India.

  2. I don't know about indian customs/quarantine but you could not bring any 'fresh' food into Australia in the other direction. I'm not sure they care about checking on outbound flights, the rules in Australia exist to prevent foreign diseases from entering the country. It would be something you might have to ask the customs service in India.

  3. no need t carry any animal to India. here u will find millions on the streets itself. no need to bring any more animal otherwise ppl will start worshipping it!!

  4. YOU CAN NOT BRING FRESH MEAT FROM ONE COUNTRY TO ANOTHER! You can not bring food on international flights which may be contaminated with mirco- organisms. And fresh kangaroo meat may have anything in it.

Although you MIGHT be able to bring back store bought freeze dried or dried kangaroo meat which has a vacuum sealed wrapped and is not opened but I would just call the airport to double check on this.
