I'm fying from California to New York where In N Out does not have a store. I'd like to bring some of their sandwiches on my carry-on. Is this allowed? I did not see it in the TSA website Thanks.

  1. Any food you have should be ok-I'd put it in a ziplock. No liquids but my daughter carried on homemade bagel sandwiches from CA to Florida

  2. I haven't had an In N Out butger in YEARS :(  I don't think there's a problem with carrying it on.

  3. You can, but you're going to have some pretty soggy lettuce and tomatoes by the time you get to NY, and there's also a good chance of the mayo based sauce IN n Out uses spoiling and causing bacterial problems. If you plan on eating them on the plane you're probably ok, but I'd be careful eating something like that after sitting unrefrigerated for a long time. If you've never been to NY, there's plenty of good burgers there, not to mention great corned-beef and pastrami sandwiches, hot dogs and pizza that are better than anything you can find in California, and I'm from California.
