Can I carry on a sleeping bag?

I'm going to be flying to Pennsylvania to go as staff at a summer camp. It'll be my first time flying, so I was curious as to how I take a sleeping bag onto an airplane? I really don't want to check any luggage. Thank you :)

i am pretty sure you can.

It will have to be rolled small enough to fit in the over head and will count as one of your allowable 2 carry-ons.

You should have no trouble with a sleeping bag.   That will count as one of your carry ons.     Will the rest of your camp items go in your other carry on?   Don't forget the 3-1-1 rule
