direct to Leeds (with no train changes) from the Milton Keynes area / M1 heading north - don't want to go too far out of the way - Stevenage is a No Go!

  1. Stevenage or Peterborough are the only options, Milton Keynes is on the West Coast main Line and you need to be on the East.

You can go by National Express coach in 3 hours from Milton Keynes Coachway for around £20.

  2. You can avoid London.    Go via Manchester. change at Piccadiily approx every 30 mins to Leeds

  3. Stevenage is the only viable option. The next stop on the London-Leeds line is Peterborough, and that is some way from both the M1 and Milton Keynes.

Why not get a coach from Milton Keynes? The journey to Leeds is pretty direct, it makes a couple of stops but they're not too far from the motorway so it doesn't take as long as other coach trips which go around the houses and take forever.

  4. You need to go into Milton Keynes central to get a train but about going direct I would doubt it, have a look at their website, http://www.nationalrailways.co.uk.

You get a coach from the Motorway have a look at http://www.nationalexpress.co.uk.

  5. The site below will give you all you need to know about rail travel in the UK and abroad.

  6. The only option from Milton Keynes is to go into London Euston, then either walk or get a taxi, bus or the tube to Kings Cross & then get a GNER train to Leeds.

  7. I'm fairly certain that there's nothing direct.

Apart from the previous suggestion to change at Manchester, why not consider Milton Keynes - Birmingham New Street - Leeds?  This is also likely to be cheaper than going via London.

  8. I am afraid that you have to come into London as there is no direct train that runs from Milton Keynes to Leeds.

    Sorry about that!
