I currently have an en-v with alot of problems- we have a 2 yr- contract family plan through verizon. A friend is willing to sell me her voyager for very little, but I don't know if verizon gives you a hard time or not? do they charge to do that?

  1. Of course you can.

You can go to the Verizon store and switch for $20 I think.

  2. Well you would have to buy a new phone. and a used voyager? that could be tricky

  3. It doesnt cost to change your phone

it just costs if you leave the company

  4. You would be able to do it with no problems, unless the phone was reported stolen. I don't think they charge to reactivate a phone, and if they do, I'm positive it isn't expensive at all.

  5. My mom and I did  this when I got my razr. You can go to the store and switch the numbers on the phones , your number will switch to her phone and her number on yours. Then she can get a new phone while you have your new voyager. You can also switch your contacts from your old phone to your new one.

    I hope this helps!

  6. you dont have to pay anything if you have a My Verizon account :) You could change right there on the internet :)

***from your my verizon home page you would go into MY SERIVES (on the primary line if you have a fam shr plan) and then select your phone in the drop down menu. then on the left hand side - click on my phone... then on the right hand side click on activate phone and then your going to select activate equipment. :) simple...

if you dont have a My Verizon account you can always go into a store and get the phone changed for $20 (ESN change is what its called) orrr you can call into Verizon Wireless' customer care from a landline on 1.800.922.0204 and they can also change it for you. We sometimes charge $20 but I work for customer care.. and i never charge the $20... unless the person has an attitude :) haha but either of those options will work :)

OH and it does not mess with your contract... your contract stays the same :)
