I'm only 21 years old and gettin' upper dentures and partial bottom dentures.. I always took great care of my teeth, but bad teeth run in my family. I'm acceptin' the fact that there's nothin' that I can do 'bout the entire situation but to accept it 'n take it as it is. But my question is.. can I choose the color of my dentures? I'm wonderin' because my dentist is a lil odd. My dentist, unlike many, didn't offer ID like many others do. The dentist in my city do things very, very different here than they do in other cities. I'm just wonderin' if every dentist has to offer that to their patients.

Please, serious answers only 'n no ignorance..

  1. I got my first full denture when I was just 15. My natural teeth rotted out of my mouth. I've had 4 replacements and always choose my own shade trying to match with few bottom teeth I have left. If your only 21 you might enjoy some really white teeth. If your dentist won't do it find one that will. Once you get them get out there and smile as often as you can.

  2. you can choose different colors
