Can I come back to Germany after 4 months or do I have to wait longer?

Hi ok, so I'm an american and right now I'm an au pair in Germany. I plan on staying here for a year with my visa. But then I want to go home for 4 months and then come back here for the summer. Is that ok? Can I still come back here to Germany if I've only been home in America for 4 months or do I have to wait longer in order to be able to come back? Thanks

So after a full year in Germany on au-pair visa you go back to the US for 4 months? You do not leave during your au-pair time?

If this is the case, yes you can come back after 4 months. 90 days would be the minimum time you need to stay away.
