you can compress them by using winuha from http://www.winuha.com or winrar.

If you want them to be in media format, you can use divx codecs which will lower their quality alittle for making the size lower

DVD Shrink is a free program that lets you delete files from the DVD such as extras and subtitles. It will also rip the DVD onto your computer but you will need another program to burn it onto another DVD.
