Can I connect a sky+ box without an engineer visiting. I have an existing sky digibox.?

Yes you can if you have a sat dish and cable and a sat finder would be helpful or at least a compass .first make sure the dish is pointing south ,if the dish hasn't been moved chances are its still set on sky 19 degrees east .Connect it all up an turn it on ,if your not paying a subscription to sky, then all you will pick up are the  F.T.A.channels (free to air) like ITV2 ,ITV3, ITV4,  BBC1,2,3,4, About 30- 40 channels plus Radio channels. but no SKY MOVIES, OR SPORTS, HISTORY,but still its not bad for nothing.
