Can I connect my Sony Digital Video Recorder (DCR-TRV10) to my computer?

I want to upload my pictures and videos on my computer to put them on youtube but mainly. I want to know if I can get a cable for it. Can I? thanks

DCR-TRV10, a miniDV vcam, must be FIREWIRE**-connected to pc to upload video thru video capture or video editing* software while vcam is ON PLAYBACK. Note: DV or Firewire port of vcam is 4pin. Before cable purchase ** (Vcam/4pin->firewireCABLE->PC (4/ 6pin?), check the firewire port of PC whether 4 or 6 pin. If none, procure firewire card: pci for pc or pcmcia for laptop.

3. Finish (render)- save Movie file, also save Project* ** file

4. Upload movie file to youTube or Share-burn to CD (if DvD, thru a DvD authoring app like DvD Flick, Nero, etc.)

For Vista/wmm6, t’is similar: Import/ Edit/ Publish/ WindowsDVD or Nero for authoring
