Can I connect to Xbox Live at a hotel?

I am going to go to a hotel that has free high speed internet, I want to know if I can connect to xbl and if so how. The reason I ask is because I read somewhere that it wouldn't let you, but I really want to play CoD4 multiplayer.

No. Hotels that offer free high speed usually have you login to it. Just the same as using the internet at the library, you have to login before accessing the full internet or else you'll just be back at the login screen.

Without being able to bypass it on XBL, you'll never get onto the network.
