I took an Order of Protection out on a neighbor now I want to contact him through his wife. I want her to tell him something. What will that do to the Protection Order if I do?

  1. Move to Alaska then let the order expire, now you can have a Beer with the couple.

  2. If you are no longer in fear for your life, which is usually a condition to get an order of protection, you need to make a court date and have the order dismissed.  If you contact anyone asking them to relay a message, then you are in violation of the protective order and can be charged.

  3. no

  4. To a judge? It would tick him off...no reason is valid or good enough once you requested that order. A Judge would see it as using the system to your advantage.

  5. its kinda violation but if no one finds out and c**p like that  then your good

  6. Not usually... There are usually stipulations making it a violation of the order if you contact the person even through 3rd party.Call your local police dept.  to be sure. Sometimes they are written such a way that YOU can be in violation if YOU contact  him.don't chance it

  7. No contact means no contact, period. You would be in violation of  your own protection order and yes, you can be arrested if the party you are supposedly being protected from alerts the authorities that you are attempting to contact him.

  8. No, that's not a wise thing to do.  Not even through his wife.  If you do, it will probably nullify the protection order.
